Boris Stalf This is just great progressive Rock Music. Very atmospheric and melodic and the Violin adds a touch of Curved Air. The sparse vocal additions add also to the overall impression of this great album! Favorite track: Death Penalty.

Ed Lohrer This album has been mentioned in a lot of Prog discussion groups.
I finally had a chance to give it a listen on the Bandcamp app and was immediately blown away from the first track.
As soon as I finished listening to it I instantly purchased the album.
Amazingly beautiful and powerful.
Bravo and Cheers to you all.

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) A breathtaking album, and the first Armenian entry in my collection - apart from some "System of a Down" items, which I don't count as "clearly Armenian". It has been among the recent purchases of "verbizki", who owns a remarkable collection of rarities and oddities. I didn't find much more music of this band so far, except for a 2006 release on "Musea" (alas, not available here, but amazon still sells it), titled "Conquest of the Pacific", and containing cover versions of "Talybont" and "On Reflection" - the origin of whose is left as an exercise to the reader. ;-) Well, this already tells pretty much which direction "Oaksenham" is heading into - it's neo-classical chamber rock in the vein of the unnamed pioneers referred to above... maybe even more of the likewise legendary "Gryphon". Compared to that, their recently published work "Upon All the Living and the Dead" exhibits a more marked rock edge, pushing the sound unequivocally towards fusion - probably due to the main songwriting duties having shifted from Vahagn Papayan to Vardan Harutyunyan and Vardan Gasparyan. Two of the songs even feature vocals, brilliantly performed by Shushan Petrosyan. Hard to pick a favorite among so many exciting songs... in the end, I've settled on "Muse", mainly because of the great vocals mentioned above. Favorite track: Muse.
